By using the p (pause) option on your phone.
You can completely automate your VoiceText calls.
All mobile phones incorporate a pause signal 'p'.
This 'p' is inserted if you press star * key a couple of times on Nokia phones. It's position can vary however, depending on the model of phone.
Every phone has one somewhere, but you may need to find it.
It's not the letter p and it will only appear in a dialing sequence. It can't appear in text messages.
When dialing a number if you place the 'p' after the number you're dialing, your mobile will pause and wait for your call to be answered.
Then it will automatically input whatever digits follow the 'p'.
For example, you want to send a VoiceText to your friends landline 017234567
First, you enter the VoiceText access number 153044411.
Then the p followed by the number you want to call in this example it's 017234567.
Enter a # after the number.
Because you want him to hear VoiceText 7, I enter a 7
Now you can see this on my screen.
Now just press Send.
The sequence will be played out automatically, and when my friend answers he'll immediately hear VoiceText 7.
One of the great advantages of voicetexts is that the complete automated sequences can be stored as normal voice contacts on your mobile. So you don't have to remember the persons number, just edit the contact with the dialing sequence to the persons name.
You can even store it as a Speed Dial number, if you phone supports this feature.
Depending on your phone model you may have to store voice contacts separately from you SMS contacts, as the extra characters may not be accepted when sending text messages. |
