Emergency Services
999 and 112

Automated calls can be used for access to emergency services. For example if you have a VoiceText which requests an ambulance. Say for example it's stored it on key 3 (K3).
Save the following sequence under the name Ambulance in your mobile phone contacts.

1530444114p999#3

The 999 services will automatically hear your message and can respond immediately.
Of course the information you provide in K3 is very important, but unlike a normal texts, VoiceTexts are not limited to 160 characters, so you can say a lot in a single VoiceText.

To ensure you Caller ID is switched on and you are certain to access the emergency service. It is recommended you start the call with *31#. What's this?

The full sequence to store under Ambulance (if you're using K3 for ambulance audio) is;
*31#1530444114p999#3

Automatic VoiceTexts Calls

Phone Settings
By using the p (pause) option on your phone.
You can completely automate your VoiceText calls.
All mobile phones incorporate a pause signal 'p'.
This 'p' is inserted if you press star * key a couple of times on Nokia phones. It's position can vary however, depending on the model of phone.
Every phone has one somewhere, but you may need to find it.
It's not the letter p and it will only appear in a dialing sequence. It can't appear in text messages.

How to use the pause feature
When dialing a number if you place the 'p' after the number you're dialing, your mobile will pause and wait for your call to be answered.
Then it will automatically input whatever digits follow the 'p'.
For example, you want to send a VoiceText to your friends landline 017234567
First, you enter the VoiceText access number 153044411.

Then the p followed by the number you want to call in this example it's 017234567.

Enter a # after the number.

Because you want him to hear VoiceText 7, I enter a 7

Now you can see this on my screen.

1530444114p017234567#7
Now just press Send.
The sequence will be played out automatically, and when my friend answers he'll immediately hear VoiceText 7.

Phonebook Contacts
One of the great advantages of voicetexts is that the complete automated sequences can be stored as normal voice contacts on your mobile. So you don't have to remember the persons number, just edit the contact with the dialing sequence to the persons name.
You can even store it as a Speed Dial number, if you phone supports this feature.
Depending on your phone model you may have to store voice contacts separately from you SMS contacts, as the extra characters may not be accepted when sending text messages.
